Alejandro Krawietz (Tenerife, 1970) holds a degree in Hispanic Philology from the University of La Laguna. He is a poet, essayist, and short-story writer, as well as an art and literary critic and cultural manager. He was a professor at the University of Western Brittany (France). His collected poetry appeared in the volume *Para un dios diurno* (2016). He has published the anthologies *La otra joven poesía española* (2004) and *La realidad entera de Ángel Crespo* (2008). He has curated exhibitions for TEA, the ArteLanzarote International Biennial, and the Government of the Canary Islands. He was the founder and director of the MiradasDoc International Documentary Film Festival and Market. He edited the literature, art, and philosophy journal Piedra y Cielo. Among his most recent works are a collection of essays on literature titled La educación de Nausícaa (2022) and the documentary film Para crear un paraíso (2023)
